TC inset. Precious metal sensors of types R, S, B in ceramic insulation, complying with DIN 43732, 43725 and IEC 584.

DESCRIPTION
This inset consists of a precious metal thermocouple sensor integrated within a ceramic tube, protecting the sensor all over its length down to the junction point. The diameter of the segment corresponds to the usual internal diameter of thermowells. The measuring circuits end at the terminal block for connecting the wires. The terminal block is designed for being mounted in a standard DIN A connection head.
Defective insets should only be replaced if the operation can be done conveniently, or ceramic insulation is discolored under the condition that the thermowell is not defective. Otherwise, the entire probe should be changed as a unit.
